The experiment was carried out in the poultry área of the department of animal production of the technical university of Manabí; in order to evaluate the enzyme phytase (10000 UFT), in increasing levels of inclusion 0 (T1); 200 (T2); 300 (T3) and 400 (T4) UFT/tm, in diets for broilers chickens its efecct on productive performance and cost benefit; 200 chickens from the Cobb 500 line were used with out sexing, for 42 days, in a three- stage diet program ( initial 1-21, growth 22-35 and fattening 36- 42 days). Productive parameters were calculated as: final body weight, feed conversión, carcass yield, abdominal fat, ash content in tibia and cost benefit. For experimental purposes the breeding was carried out observing the norms of biosafety and animal welfare. A completely randomized design was used in the experiment (DCA). For the analysis of the data, a simple classification Anova was performed, and to determine differences between Tukey´s average test (P< 0.05). The results of the experiment showed that the productive indicators of CSR, CR, were favorable for the T2 and T4 treatments, being the T4 treatment with the best response for CSR (2.68 kg), CA (1.64), CR (73.4%) and CB (1.28 $). Regarding GA, the control presented the lowest content (1.63%) and the ash content was higher in the T2 treatment (40%). It was determined that the 400UFT/tM dose of chicken feed improves the productive behavior and cost/benefit, as long as a source of phytate is present in the raw materials, such as substrate for the enzyme phytase, as is the case of the rice powder used in this experiment.
