FACTORES PSICOSOCIALES Y SU INCIDENCIA EN LOS NIVELES DE RESILIENCIA DE LOS PACIENTES CON INSUFICIENCIA RENAL QUE ACUDEN AL CENTRO DE DIÁLISIS RENACER DEL CANTÓN PORTOVIEJO

Abstract

The purpose of this research work was to determine the incidence of psychosocial factors in the levels of resilience of patients with renal impairment who come to the dialysis center reborn in the Portoviejo canton. Due to the lack of knowledge that exists around the subject, a conceptual approach of the definitions that encompasses this theme is exposed, such as the definitions of resilience, psychosocial factors, protective factors in patients with renal insufficiency. A field investigation was proposed since the subjects are directly used in the place where the events occur, and due to the nature of the data it is a qualitative quantitative study. To this end, psychosocial characterization surveys were carried out by the authors taking into account sociodemographic variables and a CD-RISC resilience measurement scale of 25 structured items, aimed at 65 patients with renal insufficiency attending the center. The data obtained are useful for the results of said investigation.
