Abstract

SUMMARY The main objective of this work was to train community development passion fruit producers (ASOPROMA) of Charapotó parish, belonging to the Canton Sucre, in passion fruit industrialization system, which was achieved using the methodology of participatory action research, also Association surveys passion fruit producers were implemented, which allowed for the training program for the industrialization of this raw material grown in this parish. Shareholders involved in this program were the parish authorities, passion fruit producers association, community, students of the Faculty of Sciences Zootécnicas- Extension Chone of the Technical University of Manabí. Obtaining favorable results for the association benefited from this training program because they could learn methods of industrialization of the raw material grown in this area
