EL SOPORTE FAMILIAR Y EL ESTADO EMOCIONAL DEL PACIENTE CON ENFERMEDAD RENAL CRÓNICA MANADIÁLISIS PORTOVIEJO

Abstract

The family as a cell of society is the primary and basic socialization of the human being that takes place between parents, children, brothers, grandparents, cousins, ...; it is the first source of support in unfavorable situations such as the economy, health, emotional relationships; however, this can be affected when one of its members suffers some calamity. Influencing in the fellow’s psychic instance that it suffers, in this subject in some chronic illness. The objective of the research was to identify the incidence of family support in the emotional state of patients with chronic kidney disease in Manadiálisis of the city of Portoviejo. For the implementation of this quantitative study, descriptive and correlational level, a structured survey was applied to relatives and medical personnel of the Center, and to patients, the scale of assessment of the state of mind, instrument designed to evaluate four states emotional situational character with clinical entity: depression, anxiety, hostility and joy. In the results it is highlighted that the emotional states of anxiety and joy are preponderant in the patients and that the family supports them physically and emotionally in the whole process that involves the treatment, ratifying the cultural trait of the Manabi family: "the family is for lean on"
