Abstract
The purpose of the management audit is to carry out an examination for the sake of
analyzing the efficiency and effectiveness of a company in the administration of its
resources where its processes are evaluated. The management audit serves to verify the
quality and solvency of the service that a company organization offers to the community.
The objective of this research is to carry out a management audit of the administrative
processes of the Transport Cooperative "COACTUR" of the City of Portoviejo, taking
into consideration that this specific sector is one of the most profitable. The investigation
is carried out in order to identify the shortcomings within the administration of the
cooperative and to itself contribute with the audit to the improvement of administrative
processes and thus optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of the resources that the
cooperative has, in the same way, carry out the evaluation of the fulfillment of goals and
objectives.
Description
La auditoría de gestión tiene como finalidad la ejecución de un examen que en aras del
análisis de la eficiencia y eficacia de una empresa en la administración de sus recursos
donde se evalúan sus procesos. La auditoría de gestión sirve para verificar la calidad y
solvencia del servicio que una empresa organización ofrece a la colectividad. El objetivo
de la presente investigación se centra ejecutar una auditoría de gestión a los procesos
administrativos de la Cooperativa de transporte “COACTUR” de la Ciudad Portoviejo,
tomando en consideración que este sector en específico es uno de los más rentables. La
investigación se efectúa con el fin de identificar las falencias dentro de la administración
de la cooperativa ya si mismo contribuir con la auditoria a la mejora de los procesos
administrativos y así optimizar la eficacia y la eficiencia de los recursos con los que la
cooperativa cuenta, del mismo modo efectuar la evaluación del cumplimiento de metas y
objetivos.
