Abstract
This work in the form of community development corresponds to the need of the Faculty of agricultural engineering, located in Lodana extension, proposing the structural design of an area of student welfare to meet serving the student community as a whole at the moment of eating foods and at the same time be in capacity for solemn events or important meetings in the event that you need it. Student welfare "University dining" area use a design of last resistance, based on the NEC, ACI, LRFD rules for the structure of concrete and steel structure ASTM A36 steel type which was calculated using Excel, AutoCAD and SAP 2000 software. The topography and soil studies provided satisfactory results the dining room recorded a foundation and structure of concrete with a steel structure cover.

El presente trabajo bajo la modalidad de desarrollo comunitario corresponde a la necesidad de la facultad de ingeniería agronómica, extensión ubicada en Lodana, proponer el diseño estructural de un área de bienestar estudiantil que satisfagan al servicio de la comunidad estudiantil en su totalidad al momento de consumir alimentos y a la vez que esté en capacidad para realizar actos solemnes o reuniones importantes en caso que se lo necesite. El área de bienestar estudiantil “comedor Universitario” utilizo un diseño de ultima resistencia, basándose en las normas NEC, ACI, LRFD para la estructura de hormigón y tipo de acero ASTM A36 para la estructura metálica lo cual fue calculado utilizando software Excel, AutoCAD y SAP 2000. La topografía y estudios de suelos brindaron resultados satisfactorios para que el comedor constara de una cimentación y estructura de hormigón con una cubierta de estructura metálica.
