Plan de mantenimiento en el laboratorio de operaciones unitarias de la UTM

Abstract

This thesis addresses the lack of a maintenance plan in the Unit Operations Laboratory and highlights the lack of a formal structure in this critical area, this lack of a systematic approach has significant implications for operational efficiency and the quality of educational experiences, the problem is considered a major challenge that can lead to premature equipment failures, unplanned interruptions of laboratory work and ultimately a decrease in the quality of education and research conducted in this environment, the research focuses on the conceptualization, development and implementation of a structured maintenance plan that proactively addresses the management of laboratory property, the objective is to create a comprehensive framework that ensures the optimal and sustainable performance of equipment and systems used in these operations, the goal is not only to correct the deficit of the formal approach, but also to improve the efficiency, reliability and availability of laboratory resources, the research methodology includes an in-depth analysis of the existing infrastructure, the identification of specific maintenance requirements and the formulation of strategies for the successful implementation of the proposed plan, it is expected that this work will benefit not only the Laboratory, but also the maintenance and care experience in academic and research environments.
