Diagnóstico del tráfico, alternativas y soluciones al congestionamiento vehicular en la Universidad Técnica de Manabí

Abstract

Currently, traffic congestion in PORTOVIEJO’s city has become a major problem, resulting from rapid increase of vehicles passing through the city. The "UNIVERSIDAD TÉCNICA DE MANABÍ" like other areas PORTOVIEJO, is directly affected by this problem, causing huge economic losses due to the time that has continued to reach the destination. All information collected with the vehicle capacity at the university, will serve as an argument to develop alternatives and solutions that contribute to the reduction of traffic congestion in the study area. This thesis project will provide the information necessary to reduce as much as possible the effects caused by vehicular agglomeration throughout the day in the "UNIVERSIDAD TÉCNICA DE MANABÍ".
