ANSIEDAD Y EMOCIONES EN EL PERSONAL DE SALUD DEL TRIAGE RESPIRATORIO DEL HOSPITAL VERDI CEVALLOS BALDA EN LA CIUDAD DE PORTOVIEJO DURANTE EL PERIODO AGOSTO – OCTUBRE DE 2021

Abstract

The human being is an emotional entity by nature and in his daily life, it can suffer experiences that trigger various emotions, coming to express them consequently or to repress them unconsciously. Anxiety is a common emotion that an individual can have in the face of stressful situations and pressure work, sometimes it helps to be more productive and to perform work more efficiently, however; there are circumstances in which anxiety becomes an obstacle to leading a normal life. The health personnel of the respiratory triage area of the Verdi Cevallos Balda Hospital in Portoviejo are forced to deal with situations of great stress that can trigger anxiety and unconscious emotions, which, in turn, can influence the performance of the same medical staff. This research project aims to frame the importance of a quantitative study, with a descriptive, exploratory and cross-sectional profile in the medical personnel working in the respiratory triage area of the Verdi Cevallos Balda Hospital in Portoviejo during the period August - October of this year, in order to identify the levels of anxiety and emotions that it presents, through the use of experimental tests such as the test and the survey.
