Estudio y diseño de un sistema contra incendio para la biblioteca general de la Universidad Técnica de Manabí

Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to contribute to the stresses generated by the UNIVERSIDA TECNICA DE MANABI regarding the preservation of the physical integrity of the student population in general practical employees, facilities and property, making the Study and System Design Fire To The Main Library Of The Technical College Manabí.This design was carried out under the application of the rules, and minimum requirements for the prevention, protection and contingency planning in case of fire loss in cultural buildings such as libraries and museums. These specifications are embodied in the standard NFPA909 Code for the Protection of Cultural Resources (of the state of america). The design consists of a fire suppression system employing automatic sprinklers and fire cabinets.With the future implementation of fire control, the General Library of Universidad Tecnica de Manabí, provide minimum security measures prescribed by national and international organizations for the safety of human life in the event of fire, just as with these systems is minimized the spread of any fire within the building ensuring the protection of texts, equipment, structure and continuity of activities it develop.
