Abstract

The subject dealt with in the present degree work is about the influence of the proactive teacher in the improvement of students' school performance; since the work of the proactive teacher allows the students to develop in an active and participative way, with the creation and use of innovative and creative strategies didactic in the classroom; It should be noted that during the development of the research certain limitations were found in the teachers regarding the mastery of didactic, educational methods and procedures that limit the methodological, guiding and educational function, such as the creation and innovation of didactic resources that allow the students assimilate the classes from another didactic perspective. That is why this research proposed as an objective Design methodological strategies to improve teaching performance and contribute to raising the performance of students of Fifth Year Parallel A and B of the Educational Unit San Francisco de Asís Portoviejo Canton, supported by the guiding role played by the teacher as a mediator of the teaching - learning process. With the planning and design of methodological strategies will be provided with new knowledge mainly for the teacher at the time of teaching their classes with the necessary guidelines to be innovative and creative in the use of any type of didactic resource, applying methods such as inductive - deductive, logical historical, analytical - synthetic, participatory, empirical methods of knowledge and observational, resulting in teachers providing quality education and their students can improve school performance.
