Abstract

The Technical University of Manabi in order to contribute to the development of the various sectors of the province, created Graduation Regulation where one of its forms takes the name of Community Development, the same as main aims to meet the multiple needs Teachers , students Authorities and it is for this reason that the aim of the thesis is to implement a milestone with geographical coordinates of IGM and lifting altimetry planimeter and structures adjacent to the Central Library of the Technical University of Manabi , using the program ARCGIS . To fulfill this purpose reference was made known landmarks to implement a new milestone in the Library of the Technical University of Manabi , was determined to make the point IGM topographic altimetry and planimeter , was obtained technical information needed to implement a milestone , put into practice the knowledge acquired in the School of Mathematical Sciences Physical and Chemical built a milestone in the Library of the Technical University of Manabi for future research which emerges in response to the change that are occurring in all Universities. This implementation process is closely linked to the situations and conditions under which they operate daily activities , is why the thesis is intended to give the exact location of the library through the implementation of a landmark IGM , in this leaves reflected document the whole process and execution from studio to preliminary and final designs , conclusions, recommendations and relevant evidence of the scope of the objectives.
