Metodología de intervención para la implementación del sistema de drenaje mediante cunetas verdes en el parque ecológico el mamey de la ciudad de portoviejo

Abstract

Pollution of the waters of the Portoviejo River is a problem that has emerged over the years, either by lack of knowledge of the population about the environmental impact that pollution on the river, connections wrong or discharge of toxic substances. This work degree comprises the intervention methodology for the implementation of the drainage system by swales in the Ecological Park "El Mamey" city of Portoviejo, along with a series of recommendations and standards that can be applied to the construction of this type structures. A biofilter is a linear structure, medium depth, covered with grass, designed to capture and treat the volume of water quality. Water flowing through the gutter is used by trees and other forms of existing plant life in this, and the liquid that seeps through the soil passes through a filtration process which is comprised of materials such as homogenized sand , geotextile and gravel once this stage the best quality water flows into the river Portoviejo. This technique is split the Sustainable Urban Drainage System, the same one that promotes the creation of greener and sustainable while proper water management is given cities.
