Abstract
One of the activities most affected by the earthquake of April 16, 2016, refers to the commercial function, as many premises were destroyed or were in a dangerous situation for their occupation, so it was necessary to relocate the commercial premises, especially in neighborhood market No 1 of the city of Portoviejo. The paper presents an analysis of the impact of the April 16 earthquake on the economic reactivation of the grocery market in the No1 neighborhood market of the city of Portoviejo. A description of the problem is offered and the formulation of the scientific problem is made. The background and justification of the research are described, the human and scientific relevance of the work is exposed and reference is made to the beneficiaries of the project. It provides a conceptual analysis of the historical evolution of commercial activity. It refers to the competitive environment, and some theoretical concepts related to commercial activity are addressed. The general and specific objectives are stated and the methodology used in the work is described, which highlights the descriptive, bibliographic, empirical methods, the observation as the primary basic method, and the induction deduction, which allowed the presence from the content of the object of study, to the elaboration of own conclusions, making it possible to offer the particularities and the proposed solutions. Within the techniques, the observation and the documentary analysis, the survey and the modeling stand out. The sample was integrated by 17 merchants from the grocery market area of the No 1 neighborhood market of the city of Portoviejo. The results of the surveys are offered where a critical analysis is exposed to each of the questions that were asked. The economic analysis is provided with data in tables and graphs, which show the level of economic recovery of commercial activity in the No 1 market of the city of Portoviejo during the years 2015 and 2016. Una de las actividades más afectadas por el sismo del 16 de abril de 2016, se refiere a la función comercial, pues muchos locales se destruyeron o quedaron en una situación peligrosa para su ocupación, por lo que resultó necesario la reubicación de los locales comerciales, especialmente en mercado barrial No 1 de la ciudad de Portoviejo. En el trabajo se presenta un análisis sobre la incidencia del sismo del 16 de abril en la reactivación económica del mercado de abarrotes en el mercado barrial No1 de la ciudad de Portoviejo. Se ofrece una descripción de la problemática y se realiza la formulación del problema científico. Se describen los antecedentes y la justificación de la investigación, se expone la relevancia humana y científica del trabajo y se hace referencia a los beneficiarios del proyecto. Se brinda un análisis conceptual sobre la evolución histórica de la actividad comercial. Se refiere el entorno competitivo, y se abordan algunos conceptos teóricos relacionados con la actividad comercial. Se realiza el enunciado de los objetivos general y específico y se describe la metodología utilizada en el trabajo, donde se destacan los métodos descriptivo, bibliográfico, empírico, la observación como método básico primario, y la inducción deducción, que permitió a partir de la presencia del contenido del objeto de estudio, a la elaboración de conclusiones propias, posibilitando con ello ir ofreciendo las particularidades y las soluciones propuestas. Dentro de las técnicas se destaca la observación y el análisis documental, la encuesta y la modelación. La muestra fue integrada por 17 comerciantes del área del mercado de abarrotes del mercado barrial No 1 de la ciudad de Portoviejo. Se ofrecen los resultados de las encuestas donde se expone un análisis crítico a cada una de las preguntas que fueron realizadas. Se brinda el análisis económico con datos en tablas y gráficos, que muestran el nivel de la recuperación económica de la actividad comercial en el mercado No 1 de la ciudad de Portoviejo durante los años 2015 y 2016. Finalmente se exponen las conclusiones y las recomendaciones del trabajo
