Abstract
El trabajo de titulación fue orientado a la realización de un estudio del potencial
hidráulico sobre el río La Esperanza del cantón El Carmen y su importancia en la
generación de electricidad para las parroquias Wilfrido Loor Moreira y El Carmen del
mismo cantón, y así poder mitigar la escases de electricidad en estos sectores vulnerables
a inundaciones de cada año, que afecta directamente a las personas de escasos recursos
económicos.
El cuerpo del trabajo de investigación está estructurado de la siguiente manera:
en la primera parte se enfoca a la problemática de la investigación, de forma detallada
la justificación que es de gran importancia para explicar por qué se va a realizar la
investigación y los antecedentes los cuales también van incluidos aquí; posteriormente
continúa el marco teórico en la cual brinda toda la información bibliográfica obtenida en
libros y páginas web, que permitieron complementar la presente investigación.
Por otra parte continúa la visualización del alcance del estudio, la cual ofrece de
forma detallada el aporte que presenta en lo social, económico y científico; luego
corresponde a la construcción de hipótesis y definición de variables para la
investigación; siguiendo con todo el desarrollo que se llevó en el diseño del trabajo, que
contiene los objetivos, así como a su vez la definición y selección de la población y
muestra a encuestar, finalmente continúa la recolección de datos obteniendo las medidas
precisas del río La Esperanza para lograr calcular por el método de aforo (flotador) el
caudal en diferentes puntos del río, interpretación y análisis de datos, esto último es de
vital importancia para la consecución del proyecto.
La idea del proyecto es enfocar el estudio de campo a la realidad que se vive
durante muchos años y así propender un desarrollo sostenible de la población.
Description
The work of titling was directed to the realization of a study of the hydraulic
potential on the river La Esperanza of the canton El Carmen and its importance in the
generation of electricity for the parishes Wilfrido Loor Moreira and El Carmen of the
same canton, and thus to be able to mitigate the Electricity shortages in these sectors
vulnerable to floods each year, which directly affects people with limited economic
resources.
The body of the research work is structured as follows: in the first part it focuses
on the problem of research, in detail the justification that is of great importance to explain
why the research will be done and the background Which are also included here; Later
the theoretical framework in which it provides all the bibliographic information obtained
in books and web pages, which allowed to complement the present investigation
continues.
On the other hand it continues the visualization of the scope of the study, which
offers in detail the contribution that it presents in the social, economic and scientific; Then
it corresponds to the construction of hypotheses and definition of variables for the
investigation; Following with all the development that was carried out in the design of
the work, containing the objectives, as well as in turn the definition and selection of the
population and sample to survey, finally continues the data collection obtaining the
precise measures of the river La Esperanza In order to calculate the flow rate at different
points in the river, interpretation and analysis of the data by the float method, the latter
being of vital importance for the achievement of the project.
The idea of the project is to focus the study of the field to the reality that is lived
for many years and thus to promote a sustainable development of the population.
