Abstract

The next graduation work was made at the Universidad Técnica de Manabí between the authors and a commission of the School of Civil Engineering looking for create the new career project for the School of Civil Engineering the one that is going to be applied for the next 5 years, before the demand of the educational improvements, looking for the academic excellence as state policy. The Ecuadorian colleges and polytechnics schools of Ecuador that actually offer the career of Civil Engineering have worked together forming a network where new career plans were discussed, they decided to homologate a high percentage of subjects, with the objective of every educational institution will offer the same subjects, allowing the concept of student mobility. As result of the different kind of studies such as pertinence, demand, occupational field, epistemological horizons, we get as result the new subjects for the career of Civil Engineering looking for help to the development of the province and the country, through the optimization of the preparation of our professionals based on the plans of national development, national plan of good living (PNBV2013-2017) and the change of the productive matrix
