dc.description El objetivo de la investigación consiste en desarrollar la resiliencia en personas con discapacidad visual en la Universidad Técnica de Manabí. En el trabajo se ofrece un análisis conceptual sobre la discapacidad visual en estudiantes. Se aborda lo relacionado con el entendimiento conceptual de la resiliencia, donde se analizan varios autores que han estudiado el tema. Se analiza la capacidad resiliente de los estudiantes que presentan discapacidad visual y la importancia del apoyo psicológico. Se expone la importancia de la intervención en resiliencia, donde se analiza el contenido del Manual de Intervención en Resiliencia de Eugenio Saavedra 2011. Se muestran los resultados de la medición de la resiliencia en los estudiantes de la Universidad Técnica de Manabí que padecen discapacidad visual y la situación que se pudo comprobar luego de aplicado el trabajo de formación en resiliencia a dicho personal. Finalmente se exponen las conclusiones del trabajo, donde se demuestra la pertinencia del estudio y se realizan un grupo de recomendaciones que se fundamentan en la importancia de los resultados logrados en la investigación.
dc.description.abstract The objective of the research is to develop resilience in people with visual disabilities at the Technical University of Manabí. The work offers a conceptual analysis on visual disability in students. It deals with what is related to the conceptual understanding of resilience, where several authors who have studied the subject are analyzed. The resilient capacity of students with visual impairment and the importance of psychological support are analyzed. The importance of the intervention in resilience is exposed, where the content of the Manual of Intervention in Resilience of Eugenio Saavedra 2011 is analyzed. The results of the measurement of resilience are shown in the students of the Technical University of Manabí who suffer from visual disability and the situation that could be verified after applying the work of training in resilience to said personnel. Finally the conclusions of the work are exposed, where the relevance of the study is demonstrated and a group of recommendations is made based on the importance of the results obtained in the research.
