LA APLICACIÓN DE POWNTOON.COM Y SU APORTE EN EL ÁREA DE CIENCIAS NATURALES EN LOS ESTUDIANTES DE BÁSICA SUPERIOR DE LA UNIDAD EDUCATIVA SANTA MARIANA DE JESÚS DEL CANTÓN PORTOVIEJO

Abstract

The objective of this research work is based on the use of the PowToon.com application in the area of natural sciences of higher basic in the Santa Mariana deJesús Educational Unit of the Portoviejo canton. In view of the problem that arises with the students of higher education of the Santa Mariana de Jesús Educational Unit, where teachers currently do not use technological tools for teaching natural sciences. The teaching of the natural sciences in the Santa Mariana de Jesús Educational Unit requires profound transformations with the application of technology in the field of learning to foster an adaptive style of knowledge in students. Therefore, the objective was to design strategies through the application of powntoon.com for the teaching - learning of the natural sciences of the students of higher education of the Santa Mariana de Jesús Educational Unit of the Portoviejo canton. A research process was considered under a qualitative - quantitative study modality with the use of the survey technique to determine the most relevant causes of resolution in the academic context. Later in the results it was determined that there is a need to improve the teaching-learning environment of natural sciences, since 90% of the students agree with the use of a library of natural science information found on the internet to be able to perform the tasks dynamically.
