CONOCIMIENTO, ACTITUD Y PRÁCTICA DE MÉTODOS ANTICONCEPTIVOS PARA PREVENIR EMBARAZOS Y ENFERMEDADES DE TRANSMISIÓN SEXUAL EN ESTUDIANTES DEL PRIMER SEMESTRE DE LA CARRERA DE MEDICINA ENERO A JUNIO 2007

Abstract

The young's study always this evolving; each time young people begin his sexual relations without the younger knowledge of the consequences that these would be able to bring earlier. Present it cross-section descriptive research, it has like object to investigate the knowledge, attitudes and practices of contraceptive methods to avoid pregnancies and diseases of sexual transmission in young people that they take a course in the first semester of the race of medicine in the period of January to June of the 2007. The universe was constituted for 109 young people of both sexes. The information was obtained intervening a structured opinion poll, the same that was tabulated and defendant with Microsoft's programs, Word and Excel. Enter obtained results the 100 % refers having had information on contraceptive methods at the high school but, has the 66 % or it has had sexual relations, the 52 % utilized some protective method in its first relation, the 48 % utilizes always a protective method being of election the condom with a 72 %. In relation to the knowledge of contraceptive methods, they manifest knowing themselves but I did not grasp his effects and implications. With this information himself I capacitate the population under consideration with the collaboration of an expert in the theme, that he guided them and it solved misgivings, in the same way educational material to spread out basic knowledges on contraceptive methods, to prevent pregnancies and diseases of sexual transmission was elaborated.
