This thesis of community development aimed at improving the process of obtaining of semi-finished cocoa which was made at the Faculty of Zootécnicas Sciences Technical University of Manabí, Extension Chone, this thesis research methodology was used - participatory action and logical approach. At the same authors of the project, the university community and cocoa producers Canton Chone which underwent participated surveys and interviews. As part of this thesis compliance in the first target established systems of semi-finished cocoa production, in which a practical guide that will serve as a source of information for future investigations into the cocoa, in the same way developed the chain it was determined Cocoa production and then to the university community and cocoa farmers were trained on issues of obtaining and importance of semi-finished cocoa and other products
