Abstract
Los abortos recurrentes son dos o más pérdidas gestacionales que se producen forma alterna o secuencial en mujeres en edad reproductiva, existe múltiples causas y entre ella en un menor porcentaje, pero no menos importante son aquellos ocasionados por una enfermedad autoinmune sistémica que hacen que el propio cuerpo de la gestante impida el progreso normal del embarazo. Objetivo: Valorar los abortos recurrentes y su relación con enfermedades autoinmunes sistémicas en usuarias del Hospital Dr. Gustavo Domínguez Zambrano durante el periodo Enero – Diciembre 2016. Materiales y Métodos: El presente trabajo fue de tipo cuantitativo exploratorio y retrospectivo que consistió en recolectar datos para determinar la ocurrencia de los abortos recurrentes, así como también conocer particularidades clínicas y sociodemográficas de las usuarias que se atendieron en el Hospital Dr. Gustavo Domínguez Zambrano. Resultados: Según las cifras presentadas en la investigación se reportaron 97 casos de abortos a repetición, y de ellos existen tres casos relacionados con enfermedades autoinmunes sistémicas, teniendo lugar un caso confirmado para LES y dos casos para SAF, existiendo entonces una relación de 97:3.

Recurrent abortions are gestational losses on two or more occasions that occur sequentially or alternately in a woman of reproductive age, there are multiple causes and among them in a smaller percentage but not less important are those caused by Systemic Autoimmune Diseases that causes the woman's own body prevents the progress and normal development of gestation. Objective: Evaluate recurrent abortions and their relationship with systemic autoimmune diseases in the Dr. Gustavo Domínguez Zambrano hospital during the period January - December 2016. Material and Methods: This investigation was a quantitative exploratory and retrospective study based on the collection of data on sociodemographic characteristics, number of abortions and their respective gestational age, as well as personal pathological antecedents of the users who attended the Dr. Gustavo Domínguez Zambrano Hospital. Results: According to the data presented in the project, there were 97 cases of recurrent abortions of which there are three cases related to systemic autoimmune diseases, with one confirmed case for LES and two case for SAF, with a ratio of 97:3.
