ItemCOMPORTAMIENTO PRODUCTIVO DE GALLINAS PONEDORAS MEDIANTE LA UTILIZACIÓN DE DOS SISTEMAS DE ALIMENTACIÓN DURANTE LA PRIMERA ETAPA DE PRODUCCIÓN DE HUEVOS(INGENIERÍA ZOOTÉCNICA, 2014-11) ALVAREZ ZAMBRANO, WILTER BIENVENIDO ; MENÉNDEZ CASTILLO, ALEX IVÁNThe influence of different types of food in laying hens of Isa Brown genetic line bred floor on performance to compete in the market were evaluated. Two treatments comprised of five replicates each were evaluated, Design was used at random (DCA), for which he worked with 250 laying hens 19 weeks reared age floor thoroughly, each treatment had 125 chickens in a group (T1) the supply system 70% (AM) 30% (pM), and in the other group (T2) the proportion 30% (AM) 70% (pM) was studied. The variables evaluated were: Weekly Production (%), weekly egg weight (g), weekly egg mass (kg) Feed intake (g / d), feed conversion (Kg / Kg) Weight gain Hen (Kg) and economic analysis ($). The T2 group had the best average in all evaluated variables (P<0.05). Similarly, the T2 earned less economic loss, which was $0,13 per dollar. It is recommended to producers of laying hens kept in floor distribute daily food in proportion 30% in the morning and 70% in the afternoon.

ItemMANEJO DE LOS SISTEMAS DE PRODUCCIÓN DE POLLOS DE ENGORDE A LOS AVICULTORES DE LA PARROQUIA SAN PEDRO DE SUMA DEL CANTÓN EL CARMEN 2013(INGENIERÍA ZOOTÉCNICA, 2013) COBEÑA VERA, LEONOR BEATRIZ ; LOOR ZAMBRANO, ANGELA MARÍA ; LOOR ZAMBRANO, ANTONIO FRANCISCO ; MARCILLO GARCÍA, MARÍA LEYDIANAThis project was developed in the San Pedro de Suma parish the El Carmen city at Hacienda “Las Tres Marias “belonging to Mr. Medardo Antonio Loor Zambrano. It was hold in the months of June and July 2013, with the objective to train chicken farmers of the San Pedro de Suma parish on systems handling broiler production, using the following techniques: matrix involved, problems tree, objectives tree, alternative tree, logical framework matrix. We used tools such as surveys that were addressed to the habitants of the parish already mentioned, in which it was identified that there are several problems in the methods used for breeding of broilers. The main reason for these inadequate breeding methods was because chicken farmers didn’t know a proper way of managing livestock systems broilers, for that reason, taking into account the background above was necessary to contribute to training in what are broilers concerns that promotes knowledge of those involved in this type of activity. Specific objectives were found, being success Training dictated to farmers, which from now on will be able to apply the techniques and methods learned during the development of the thesis work.

ItemMEJORAMIENTO DE LOS PROCESOS DE ORDEÑO EN LA PRODUCCIÓN DE GANADO DE LECHE EN LA FACULTAD DE CIENCIAS ZOOTÉCNICAS DE LA UNIVERSIDAD TÉCNICA DE MANABÍ EXTENSIÓN CHONE(INGENIERÍA ZOOTÉCNICA, 2014) ARTURO LOOR, EDWIN ISRAEL ; INTRIAGO HIDALGO, JOSÉ GUILLERMO ; RIVADENEIRA GILER, ENRIQUE GREGORY ; VERA ÁLVAREZ, ANÍBAL ARTUROThe completion of the community developed was execute on the premises of the Zootechnical Science Faculty Chone , it was carried during the months of December 2013 to February 2014 , having as a main objective to improve the milking processes by implementing a mechanized system to optimize resources and increase the milk quantity and quality at the Zootechnical Science Faculty Chone, handing down training, workshops and fieldwork by the authors project for making a correct milking of the milk, being involved students of the Zootechnical Engineering career; were used the following techniques: involved matrix, problems tree , objectives tree, alternative Tree , Matrix logical framework to determine one of the needs of the Faculty was used as a tool for the implementation of the survey that was aimed at students of the Zootechnical Engineering career, in which it was identified that there was mismanagement in the process of milking , which was improved with the acquisition of a milking machine . All specific objectives were accomplished, being successful training given to students who will be able to apply what they learn to enhance your professional profile, in addition to new research.

ItemMEJORAMIENTO DE LOS PROCESOS DE PRODUCCIÓN PORCINA EN LOS PEQUEÑOS PRODUCTORES AGROPECUARIOS DEL SITIO SANTA ROSA DEL COMUNAL DE LA PARROQUIA SAN PEDRO DE SUMA DEL CANTÓN EL CARMEN(INGENIERÍA ZOOTÉCNICA, 2013) CÓRDOVA NAVIA, EUCLIDES MANUEL ; CÓRDOVA NAVIA, LUIS ANIBAL ; OLGUÍN COVEÑA, JOSÉ EDISSON ; ZAMBRANO RODRÍGUEZ, AMADO RAMÓNThe aim of this project was to improve pig production processes to increase profit margins on small farmers Santa Rosa site of the Parish Community of San Pedro de Sum of Canton El Carmen in the period 2013. To carry out the project were prioritized problems in the estates of the site, achieving coordinate, organize, plan and implement actions needed to improve in a participatory manner. Through proper coordination was possible to work with the production parameters , involving the community in each of the stages of improvement, allowing greatly improve the unfolding swine production area , as they improved management processes food technologist , genetics and reproduction through training smallholders Santa Rosa site site of the Parish Community of San Pedro de Sum of Canton El Carmen . The research work yielded as conclusions: the producers are motivated because the implementation of the acquired knowledge allows them to be more efficient in swine production processes , demonstrating that it has strengthened the quality and conversion, which significantly increases the quality improvement of lives of small producers.
