Análisis del comportamiento de viguetas de concreto estructural simple, utilizando agregados comunes en la ciudad de portoviejo

Currently the need to analyze the different behaviors of all structural elements that guarantee stability, reliability, durability and economy, it is necessary to perform the different laboratory tests with several samples that should have different types of aggregates two presents more commonly known quarries in our area, and that supply the city of Portoviejo. The main aspects that were studied for this research were to study compressive strength at 7 days, 14 days, 21 days and 28 days to analyze the behavior of the aggregates on the binder, analysis of resistance of the beams with measures more common in contraction, each setting time, mechanical study of aggregates physical characteristics, study of water cement relations. The design was basically focused on the concrete beams and the reason for their cracks that are produced by different causes such as aggregates uses not appropriate, excess water, salinity fine aggregate, dosages are wrong, wrong process mixing, inadequate formwork, and poor curing among others. This study will have a reference material for professionals, students and staff dedicated to construction and to have references to a proper process when designing and building structural elements of our area aggregates.
