    The tourist product of "sun and beach" or beach certification, are relatively modern tools, maintained among the main ones worldwide, and are beginning to show signs of exhaustion in their more conventional expressions. Ecuador as a territory is living through decisive times in its history, for example: the tourist activity becomes an essential component of integrated action in local territories. Likewise, the impulse of this activity provokes benefits and deterioration in coastal cantons, discovering local actors with complex appreciation regarding benefits coming from tourism. In this research, a methodology will be implemented to define a set of indicators, including technical aspects that reflect the main standards and instruments of tourism development that have been implemented for the quality management of beaches for subsequent certification. The necessary steps for the management of the thematic objective of study to be proposed later are also exposed with their corresponding tools and procedures. The research project is oriented to determine a proposal of a methodology with a theoreticaltechnical approach for the certification of Crucita beach in the Portoviejo canton. Subsequently, and based on the results obtained, it implements a quantitative methodology by means of satisfaction surveys to a sample of visitors to the beaches, meeting certain criteria such as morphological aspects, environmental aspects, services and facilities and aspects related to design and comfort. In the development of this research, the application of action strategies for conservation through the use of good practices is necessary and will serve for the authors to apply the knowledge acquired during their career in Business Administration. Through the implementation of the standards, the conservation of ecosystems, environmental processes and the development of society are expected.
