    The project under study tries to see the feasibility for the company of Dan Quimica C.A. At the moment of setting up a production line of peracetic acid from acetic acid and hydrogen peroxide, for this we have to have the machinery that was used in a production process that has been discontinued. Before this, the adaptation was evaluated, being very profitable since both processes are very similar and the results in the pilot production that was made leave very good results, besides identifying the critical points in the process as well as the method for the determination of the concentration of peracetic acid in the initial mixture as the final one. Performance indicators such as NPV, TIR and PRI were also established along with the break-even point resulting in a lot of economic feasibility, while the technical feasibility was fixed with the design of the production process including laboratory tests and the result of The pilot production, which in all cases did not present any major drawback, but this was not the case with the peracetic acid concentration determination method where very little literature was found for this procedure. Before all this the final results of the investigation have turned out to be very optimistic so that the company of Dan Quimica C.A. choose to invest in this project.
