    The importance of corporate governance in ensuring that companies are run in the interests of their owners has long been recognized in market economies. However, in transition economies, the problem has taken on additional significance, as the lack of an indigenous business culture and unclear legal regulations and supervisory capacity highlight the need to establish corporate discipline mechanisms as a priority. In the first chapter we made a brief analysis of the project, outlining what we did in the development of our research. The second chapter includes the theoretical and conceptual framework where we point out the bibliographic bases and everything concerning the offer of trade systems and their impact on the quality of the goods and services they provide to the consumers of the city of Portoviejo. In the third chapter we describe the methodological design used in the development of our research such as the techniques, the number of authorities, businessmen and clients involved in the trade systems to perform the tabulation and analysis of our study. In the fourth chapter we demonstrate through statistical tables and later through analysis the reality of the offer of trade systems and their impact on the quality of the goods and services they provide to the consumers of the city of Portoviejo. To finish we formulate the conclusions and from these we draw the recommendations that will help the population immersed in this type of business activity.
