Abstract

The economic crisis that affects to the countries of the world and especially Ecuador to deteriorated the conditions of the family causing a high index of infantile Morbi- mortality detecting that in their great majority they are for causes prevention and brings results in retard in the growth and the boy's development. This investigation study seeks to know the nutritional state and like it influences in the growth and the 0-5 year-old children's development that attend the nursery “Cristo Rey” of the Parish Charapotó in the period March-August of the 2006. With a sample of 37 0-5 year-old children that corresponds to 100%, by means of a prospective-descriptive study the nutritional state of the children is determined that you can measure through the weight, it carves for the age, cephalic perimeter as well as the levels of affectivity, Psicomotricidad and the alteration of one of them are reflected in the boy's growth, the results of this investigation indicate that 14% has low weight for the age and belonging to the masculine sex with 80%. ikewise knowing the importance of the optimization of the boy's development from the earliest ages is carried out an educational plan that guides the mother’s community biological mothers of how it should be the correct feeding of the children that attend the nursery “Cristo Rey” of the Parish Charapotó.
