dc.description In the IESS Medical Dispensary of the Playa Prieta community, the Riochico parish of the Portoviejo Canton, Manabí province of Ecuador, the community intervention project was carried out with the formation of the diabetic club applying the Norms and Protocols that govern the Ministry of Public Health of Ecuador For all health institutions, which was aimed at improving the health conditions of diabetic patients receiving care in this health home. The execution of this work was carried out based on three specific objectives: First, to form the diabetic club of the rural social insurance, complying with the norms and protocols of the Ministry of Public Health for the care of the diabetic patient. Second, to implement a programmed care plan for the diabetic user, and third, to train diabetics in selfcare. The objectives have been fulfilled in each of the stages and the results obtained have been satisfactory to 100%, which shows that the community intervention has been for the benefit of the community.
dc.description.abstract En el Dispensario Médico IESS de la comunidad Playa Prieta, parroquia Riochico del Cantón Portoviejo, provincia de Manabí Ecuador se realizó el proyecto de intervención comunitaria con la conformación el club de diabéticos aplicando las Normas y Protocolos que rige el Ministerio de Salud Pública del Ecuador para todas las instituciones de salud, el mismo que estuvo orientado a mejorar las condiciones de salud de los pacientes diabéticos que reciben atención en esta casa de salud. La ejecución de este trabajo se realizó en base a tres objetivos específicos: Primero, conformar el club de diabéticos del seguro social campesino cumpliendo las normas y protocolos del Ministerio de Salud Pública para la atención del paciente diabético. Segundo, implementar un plan de atención programada al usuario diabético, y, tercero capacitar a los diabéticos en el autocuidado. Éstos objetivos se cumplieron en cada una de sus etapas y los resultados obtenidos han sido satisfactorios al 100%, lo que demuestra que la intervención comunitaria ha sido en beneficio de la comunidad. es_ES
