Abstract

The Center for the Deprivation of Liberty (CPL) Manabí N°4 “the Rodeo”, is designed for adults who have committed some kind of infraction with the law and have to have a rehabilitation with society, the CPL Manabí N ° 4 “the Rodeo”, in conjunction with the National Comprehensive Attention System (SNAI) provide support to each of those deprived of liberty, to have a correct reintegration with society in terms of the comprehensive fulfillment of their sentence or in acceptance of a prison benefit that is stipulated in the Organic Code Comprehensive Criminal (COIP). Getting to obtain a new opportunity in society and a correct social rehabilitation, therefore, the cabinetmaking workshop of CPL Manabí N °4 “the Rodeo” is taken as work and object of research, where the main problem is poor coordination in the production and commercialization of the different varieties of products made with wood and that are very useful in each of the homes or companies and for the Person Deprived of Liberty (PPL), in being able to work and invest their time in the elaboration of different products reaching to solve their expenses through the sale and to be able to reinvest in raw materials to continue with the manufacturing process and elaboration of varieties of products in handicrafts. Given the importance of existing production workshops, direct labor and raw materials, the PPLs of CPL Manabí N °4 “the Rodeo”, choose to provide great varieties of handicraft products for homes and companies, seeing the need in which people They manufacture their products, but it is difficult for them to market and sell them because they do not have a free market space, they choose to manufacture them to order or to send them home with their relatives and they can be exhibited and sold at a fair price, in such a way , that they can get the raw material. Likewise, focus most of their time on the manufacture of new innovative products and have a correct rehabilitation and reintegration with society, in view of this problem, the need to design production, marketing and sale strategies of the different products was noted. They are made in the workshops of CPL Manabí N ° 4 under strict quality standards that are implemented for each of the manufactured products. Subsequently, the current situation of the cabinetmaker's workshop of the prison and the manufacture of handicrafts in the rehabilitation centers is diagnosed and the method of the interview that was carried out with the person in charge of the labor area and the representative of the workshop is taken as a reference.
