SÍNDROME DE MOEBIUS EN ADOLESCENTE TEMPRANO: ANÁLISIS DE CASO

Abstract

Moebius Syndrome is a disease that consists of congenital and bilateral paralysis of the VII and VI cranial nerves. In order to apply the Nursing Care Process to an adolescent with Moebius Syndrome to influence her physical, psychological, family and social well- being, a case analysis was carried out during the months of April to September 2021. It was chosen due to the exceptionality, its rarity and its infrequency of this disease, work was carried out through home visits, starting with the assessment through the anamnesis and physical examination, obtaining objective and subjective data, identifying the human needs affected according to Virginia Henderson, Marjory Gordon's functional patterns and arriving at Nursing Diagnoses. For the planning stage, the website of the virtual Secretariat of the International School of Health Sciences of Spain "E-cares" was used, which established a protocol for nursing care. The planned activities were carried out and the nursing results and the care plan were evaluated. The process carried out with the adolescent allowed the comprehensive assessment of the same, allowing the identification of human needs, functional patterns and the formulation of nursing diagnoses, the planning and execution of nursing care aimed at satisfying the affected needs and the evaluation of the results of the Nursing Care Process in the physical, psychological and social well-being of this.Moebius Syndrome is a disease that consists of congenital and bilateral paralysis of the VII and VI cranial nerves.
