La promoción de la lectura como método de aprendizaje en las aulas virtuales en los estudiantes de bachillerato de la unidad educativa ARCO IRIS del cantón Portoviejo.

Abstract

The present research degree work is based on the problem of not practicing the reading habit in the professional training of students, and developing skills that facilitate their creative, analytical, reflective and critical thinking through strategic activities according to the types of reading. The study of the present work was supported by the bibliographic documentation for the historical, theoretical, and legal foundations.

The methodology is based on analysis and synthesis as the main method, the project is feasible under the modality of field inquiry because the problem was evidenced in the high school students of the Arco Iris Educational Unit. The types of research used were: quantitative, qualitative, explanatory and bibliographic. The techniques implemented are: the survey and observation. The results obtained from the application of the instrument corresponding to the survey were represented in a tabular, graphic and textual manner for each of the questions contained in the questionnaire. These results allowed the execution of the proposal to promote reading culture to strengthen the practice of reading in the training of high school students to be justified.
