Abstract

SUMMARY This research was conducted in the area of poultry farming of the Faculty of Sciences Zootécnicas, Chone extension of the Universidad Técnica de Manabí; The objective was to determine the incidence of partial substitution of corn by cassava bran in raising replacement pullets Hy Line Brown variety; We used a completely randomized design, body weight of birds fed corn in combination with cassava bran and the results were evaluated were admitted to the system of statistical analysis SPSS where the ANOVA was performed, and was determined by statistical test Tukey 5% there is no significant difference in the treatments, however, T1 treatment (90% + 10% corn bran cassava) the difference in weight obtained was 1.00 g relative to T0 and T2 ; the cost of production to produce 40 kg of treatment T0 is $ 26.93; Treatment T1: $ 26.90 and treatment T2: $ 28.91 which compared with trademarks Pronaca ($ 29.50) and Bioalimentar ($ 27,00) at T0 and T1 treatment costs less.
