PROGRAMA Y PREVENCIÓN DE LA PARASITOSIS INFANTIL PARA LOS NIÑOS(AS) QUE ASISTEN A LA GUARDERÍA SANTA MARGARITA DE LA PARROQUIA ELOY ALFARO DEL CANTÓN MANTA. NOVIEMBRE 2006-ABRIL DEL 2007

Abstract

The present investigative work under the Modality of Community Development, was carried out in the city of Blanket of November from the 2006 to May of the 2007. Considering the children like a vulnerable group and the economic situation partner of the country, these they should be low the care of other people, far from their parents; it was chosen to the Nursery Santa Margarita; where he/she is carried out the diagnosis participativo involving the users so much internal as external, to complete our general objective it was the one of Implementing a program of prevention of the Parasitosis in the niños/as; by means of the training to the community mothers and family parents through educational chats on measures of prevention of the parasitosis in the children smaller than 5 years, establishing permanent coordination with the Hospital Rodríguez Zambrano for the periodic medical control to the children; previous the identification of the type of parasites for this way to achieve the coordination with the team of health and community mothers of the Nursery for the maintenance of the project. This institution harbors 50 children of both sex; 9 community mothers dedicated to the attention, feeding and care newspaper, 1 director that takes charge of carrying out administrative activities and a personnel that he/she carries out the works of cleaning. The parasites that presented were the cyst of giardia lambia in the children from 53 to 62 months, they didn't have the outline of vaccines I complete, The occupation of the parents of the children's families is the worker, since to be the canton port factories that you/they receive to work for daily days exist. It was possible to carry out the commitment with the Hospital Rodríguez Zambrano, so that biannually they receive medical attention the children of the nursery.
