Abstract

The main objective of the present investigation was to study the feasibility for the implementation of a cheese and delicacy processing plant in the precinct the Progress of the García Moreno parish of the Cotacachi Canton, to know the importance of the project, a market study was carried out through the Carrying out surveys with questions related to the topic, obtaining the same results that were elaborated in the statistical program Microsoft Excel version 2016, on the productive potential of the plant of its possible supply and demand mainly within the community, later a technical study was carried out detailing the place where the design, construction and distribution of the plant was proposed, and the elaboration of the respective process diagrams of the products that will be processed, such as cheese and dulce de leche, optimizing the methodology used, determining the amount of PM to be processed with 182,500 liters per year, projecting annual income of $365,429 .76; In the financial study, emphasis was placed on the investment made, making a balance of implementation costs and with the expenses it adds the amount of -52,560.60 in the first year, planning its recovery in the next 5 years through good management; in the Sensitivity analysis of the project on the NPV (22,982.32) and IRR (29.19%) where the costs are $512,574.25 and the benefits are $540,556.56, accepting the financial indicators given and determining the profitability of the project . The balance point at the annual production level of the company according to the formula and the analysis used will be the PE of the company collecting 182,500.00 liters of milk with a balance point based on the quantity of 12,956.00 liters, and finally An environmental study and organizational description of the company were carried out, concluding that the project will be highly profitable and will also strengthen the economic and productive activity of the community, creating sources of employment.
