dc.description El estudio que se realizó cuenta con aportaciones bibliográficas actualizadas bajo el soporte observacional, tornando el artículo de tipo descriptivo exploratorio, donde se pretende conocer el manejo y las atenciones para los usuarios que visitan las bibliotecas que se encuentran dentro de la Universidad Técnica de Manabí, por lo que tomando en consideración a los estudiantes desde el año 2013 hasta la actualidad, se evidencia un total de 24 personas que presentan discapacidad visual que van desde un 30%, alcanzando los 85%, razón que se considera indispensable verificar si las bibliotecas brindan un servicio accesible que puedan romper barreras para la fácil accesibilidad de estos usuarios. es
dc.description.abstract The study carried out has updated bibliographical contributions under the observational support, making the article descriptive exploratory type, where it is intended to know the handling and the attentions of the libraries that are inside the Technical University of Manabí, reason why taking A total of 24 people with a visual impairment, ranging from 30% to 85%, have been taken into consideration for students since 2013. This is why it is considered essential to verify if libraries provide an accessible service that Can break down barriers for the easy accessibility of these users. en
