SÍNDROME DE BURNOUT EN LAS ENFERMERAS ANTE LA PANDEMIA COVID-19. SERVICIO DE EMERGENCIA, HOSPITAL GENERAL MANTA

Abstract

The Burnout Syndrome is a chronic stress condition which is very frequent in the health area, currently the health services are in a situation of Pandemic due to Covid-19, the purpose of the study was to analyze the level of burnout syndrome presented by the nursing graduates of the emergency area of the General Manta Hospital in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic; process that was carried out through the application of the MBI instrument and a sociodemographic data sheet, establishing that 100% are female, the predominant age is 30 to 39 years, the marital status is married, they have up to two children, They come from urban areas, with one to three years of contract work experience, with an average income of one thousand to two thousand dollars, and most of them do not have pre-existing diseases. Burnout levels were established, 84% presented a low level of emotional fatigue and 16% presented a medium level; Regarding depersonalization, 91% present a low level, 9% a medium level and regarding personal fulfillment, 22% present a medium level and 78% presented a high level. The most sensitive groups are in the age ranges of 20 to 29, married, have a child, be from rural areas, have 12 to 23 months of work, practice by appointment, have an income of $ 1000 to 2000, existence disease is not considered as an incidence.
