IMPLEMENTACIÓN DE UN CENTRO DE INVESTIGACIÓN CLÍNICO-EPIDEMIOLÓGICO PARA LA CARRERA DE MEDICINA DE LA FACULTAD DE CIENCIAS DE LA SALUD DE LA UNIVERSIDAD TÉCNICA DE MANABÍ DURANTE EL PERÍODO ENERO A JULIO DE 2009

Abstract

With the objective of implementing a clinical-epidemiological research center, it is realized a first stage of a macroproject, the same that quialification of student ones in formative investigations contemplates. The research center is located in the third floor, left side, of the faculty of sciences of health, Medicine career, of the technical University of Manabí, the same that in its physical structure account with outer porch, file secretarial with a writing-desk and archivist, room of meetings and a bar, a half bath woth floors and walls of ceramics coactings, two rooms, each one accont with a surface with granite, a socle of ceramic on the walls and a sink, these two areas have capacity for five people with illumination and artificial ventilation. The used techniques were: Observation participative, interviews to key informants and focal groups. The outstanding results were: The 79% of educational and to 76% of student representatives were qualified. With regard to test a great percentage of students did not know the investigation methods that are used to realice investigations. In post test the obtanied result showed a high porcentage of knowledge.
