Abstract
El presente trabajo es referente sobre el estado nutricional en niños del primer año básico, Escuela Fiscal José Mejía Lequerica, Portoviejo 2017, fue un estudio descriptivo-prospectivo, cuantitativo no experimental. El objetivo fue identificar el estado nutricional en niños de primer año básico. Metodológicamente el estudio se realizó en la Escuela José Mejía Lequerica, Comunidad Mejía, Parroquia Picoazá, Cantón Portoviejo”, la población estuvo conformada por todo los niños y niñas inscrito en el plantel educativo total de 407 y la muestra fue representada por 36 niños y niñas del primer año de educación general básica y se toma como referencia directa a 36 madres de familia que participaron en la investigación previo documento firmado, para determinar el estado nutricional se aplicó una ficha de valoración nutricional en niños y niñas de 5 años donde se obtuvieron y registraron los resultados de la toma de peso, talla e IMC de cada niño para la evaluación, los datos obtenidos fueron sometido a la base estadística de Excel. El periodo de esta investigación fue durante Febrero a septiembre 2017 .Los resultados se proporcionaran a las autoridades del plantel para que conozcan el estado nutricional de los niños(as) de 5 años y poder intervenir junto con las autoridades del SCS de Mejía para tomar las medidas preventivas y educativas necesarias para disminuir la morbi-mortalidad y al mismo tiempo mejorar el aprendizaje en los escolares.
Description
The present work is a reference on the nutritional status in children of the first basic year, Fiscal School José Mejia Lequerica, Portoviejo 2017, was a crosssectional descriptive-prospective study, quantitative not experimental. The objective was to identify the nutritional status in first year primary children. Methodologically, the study was conducted at the José Mejia Lequerica School, Mejia Community, Picoazá Parish, Canton Portoviejo, "the population was made up of all children enrolled in the total educational establishment of 407, and the sample was represented by 36 children and Girls from the first year of basic general education and a direct reference was made to 36 mothers who participated in the research prior to a signed document. In order to determine the nutritional status, a nutritional assessment form was applied to children under 5 years of age, where they were obtained and recorded the results of weight-bearing, height and BMI of each child for evaluation, the data obtained were subjected to the statistical basis of Excel. The period of this investigation was during February to september 2017. The results will be provided to the campus authorities so that they know the nutritional status of the children under 5 years old and to be able to intervene together with the authorities of the SCS of Mejía to take the preventive and educational measures necessary to reduce morbidity and mortality and, at the same time, improve learning among schoolchildren.
