FACTORES DE RIESGO QUE INFLUYEN EN EL CRECIMIENTO Y DESARROLLO EN LOS NIÑOS MENORES DE 5 AÑOS DE LA COMUNIDAD 8 DE SEPTIEMBRE DE LA PARROQUIA GUANGAJE, EN EL PERIODO COMPRENDIDO DESDE 1o DE SEPTIEMBRE DEL 2005 AL 1o DE JUNIO DEL 2006

Abstract

The present investigativo work is of descriptive, prospectivo type of cross section whose general mission was to investigate the risk factors that influence in the growth and development in the smaller children of 5 years of community 8 of September of the Guangaje parish in the included/understood period of 1o of September of the 2,005 to 1o of June of the 2.006. The universe was conformed by 30 children of community 8 of September of the Guangaje parish, from which a sample of 19 children was taken who reside permanently in the community due to aque exists a high index of migration. The minors in study detected themselves by means of a population census The information was obtained by means of a survey directed to the mothers of family of the children in study. In addition one evaluated the state of growth and development through the taking of anthropometric measures and the application of tes of Denver. The investigativo work concludes that the main factors of risk that affect the growth of these minors have to do with the situation of poverty of their parents, cultural patterns of feeding of the community, patterns, lack of psicomotriz stimulation on the part of the family, the triple load that fulfills the mother (wife, worker, mother), lack of provision of the services of health and inaccesibilidad to such.
