Abstract
In order to evaluate the effect of the organic acid mixtures in the drinking water of the laying hens of the Hy-Line line in the rearing stage from week 10 to week 16 on the productive parameters, an investigation was carried out in the area of poultry production of the Technical University of Manabí, Faculty of Zootechnical Sciences. The design used was Completely Random with a factor the same that represented the percentage of organic acid mixtures, four treatments were used including a control with four replications; To which an ANOVA was performed for the comparison of averages of the treatments, the TUKEY test was applied to (p <0.05). The T0 (control), the T1 (05 cc mixtures of organic acids), the T2 (1 cc mixtures of organic acids) and the T3 (1.5 cc mixtures of organic acids). Obtaining better results in the parameters measured with respect to body weight, T2 in week 10 with a value of 716.20g, T3 in week 11 with a value of 818g, T0 in week 12 and 13 with values of 972.15g and 1028.75g and in weeks 14, 15 and 16 the T3 with values 1156.50g, 1275.25g and 1385.50 g mentioned in the same order. With regard to food consumption in week 10 the best result was for T1 with a value of 12125.00g, in week eleven T3 obtained the best result with a value of 14340.00g. In week twelve the T2 with a value of 15337.50g; in week thirteen the T3 with a value of 16355.00g in week fourteen the T2 and T3 equally with a value of 16442.50g. In week fifteen the T2 with a value of 16,546.23g and finally in week sixteen the T3 with a value of 17,150.00g. In water consumption, the best results were obtained by T3 in all weeks. Regarding the physical-chemical analysis, T1 had a better pH of 3.29; free chlorine: 0.17mg / l and residual hardness: 7.64mg / l. Although, in the present study the three treatments contained organic acids in the drinking water, higher zootechnical parameters were obtained (p = <0.05) compared to the control group.
