| dc.description | El bibliotecario referencista es quien satisface las necesidades de información de los usuarios, así también permite llegar al conocimiento. El objetivo del trabajo fue investigar el rol del bibliotecario referencista en la Unidad de Información en la Pontificia Católica del Ecuador Sede_Manabí (Chone, Bahía de Caraquéz y Portoviejo). Se realizó un estudio de tipo descriptivo, empleando el método de análisis documental clásico, en la misma línea, en la sucesión de las opiniones y exhibición de las mismas, se usó el método histórico-lógico para demostrar la forma de cómo se observa el servicio de referencia en los centros de información de la PUCE sede _ Manabí. Se realizó una encuesta digital (Google Forms) a un universo poblacional de 60 estudiantes y una entrevista semi-estructurada a 5 bibliotecarios en línea mediante la plataforma zoom, en sus diferentes sedes. Como resultado se puede mencionar que los bibliotecarios referencistas saben enfrentar con eficiencia los requerimientos de la realidad informacional de su comunidad, y realizan un esfuerzo importante para la actualización de sus conocimientos. | es |
| dc.description.abstract | The reference librarian is the one who satisfies the information needs of users, thus also allowing them to reach knowledge. The objective of the work was to investigate the role of the reference librarian in the Information Unit at the Pontificia Católica del Ecuador Sede_Manabí (Chone, Bahía de Caraquéz and Portoviejo). A descriptive study was carried out, using the classical documentary analysis method, in the same line, in the succession of opinions and their exhibition, the historical-logical method was used to demonstrate the way in which the service is observed reference in the information centers of the PUCE headquarters _ Manabí. A digital survey (Google Forms) was carried out with a population of 60 students and a semi-structured interview with 5 online librarians through the zoom platform, in their different locations. As a result, it can be mentioned that reference librarians know how to efficiently face the requirements of the informational reality of their community, and they make a significant effort to update their knowledge. | en |
