dc.description El objetivo de este trabajo está en caracterizar la literatura latinoamericana sobre Ciencias de la Información que incide en el desarrollo local, publicada en la Revista Brasileña Transinformacao. Se escoge esta revista por ser la de mayor factor de impacto dentro de las Ciencias de la Información en Latinoamérica, según el Portal Scimago Journal & Country Rank de 2016. Se desarrolló un estudio de tipo descriptivo, longitudinal y retrospectivo, analizándose un total de 114 artículos en el período 2012-2016. Del total de artículos analizados se realizó una clasificación dentro de las Ciencias de la Información para determinar aquellos núcleos y competencias que guían el accionar del Profesional de la Información en el desarrollo sostenible, destacándose un total de 25 artículos. Como conclusiones se destacan las propuestas comunes de interés para la región y el avance que ha tenido las Ciencias de la Información en gestar acciones para el desarrollo local. es
dc.description.abstract The objective of this work is to characterize the Latin American literature on Information Sciences that affects local development, published in the Brazilian Journal of Transformation. This journal is chosen because it is the largest impact factor within the Information Sciences in Latin America, according to the Portal Scimago Journal & Country Rank of 2016. A descriptive, longitudinal and retrospective study was developed, analyzing a total of 114 articles in the period 2012-2016. From the total of articles analyzed, a classification was made within the Information Sciences to determine the nuclei and competences that guide the actions of the Information Professional in sustainable development, with a total of 25 articles. As conclusions, we highlight the common proposals of interest to the region and the progress made by the Information Sciences in developing actions for local development. en
