VALORACIÓN Y CORRECCIÓN DE LOS DEFECTOS DE REFRACCIÓN EN LOS ESTUDIANTES DE LA ESCUELA 10 DE AGOSTO DEL SITIO PACHINCHE ADENTRO DEL CANTÓN PORTOVIEJO PERÍODO JUNIO A NOVIEMBRE DEL 2009

Abstract

The refraction defects or ametropías are all those situations in those that, for optic bad operation, the eye in not able to provide a good image. Many exist other circumstances in those that. The image at level of the retina is faulty, but that they don’t depend directly on an optic bad operation. Some of the refraction defect (myopia, hypermetropia, astigmatism and longisghtedness) defects will appear sooner or later throughout the life, for what is important to know how it can correct them and which the specific indication are in particular in each case, for that the only ones in giving an diagnostic guessed right they are the professionals in visual health. The posses the knowledge and techniques to give us the solutions to the refractive and visual problems in general, since alone the experts in this field with the evaluation and diagnostic they are the only on that should recommend us on the appropriate form of solving them. The main purpose of this thesis was the valuation and correction optometrica to the students of the school “10 Agosto” of the place Pachinche Adentro in the period June-November of the 2009.The evaluated population was 103 students. Among the most remarkable solutions we have the valuation in their entirety of the children, of the school “10 de Agosto”
