El tratamiento de los desechos hospitalarios por parte del personal de salud del Hospital Básico Chone y su incidencia en el impacto ambiental.

Abstract

The research work presents the problem of hospital waste treatment from a conceptual theoretical approach, raised by several authors, which led us to undermine the problem from the internal perspective of the Chone’s Basic Hospital, making a situational diagnosis and complemented by the application of instruments such as the survey and interviewing of different actors involved with the problem, this allowed to determine reliable data on the shortcomings that deserve to be corrected or minimized. The analysis and recognition of the internal situation of the institution under study with respect to the problem, allowed to arrive to a proposal that guarantees at least to minimize the environmental impact, through the execution of daily activities, the strengthening of management and in agreement with the fulfillment of the institutional objectives based on the mission and vision of the Chone’s Basic Hospital, giving faith, of the degree of obligation that assume the institutions of public health to contribute to the social development and that will contribute to the same way to increase the levels of effectiveness in the environmental scope.
