Abstract

This research work aimed to analyze the strategies of conservation of digital information in the library Dr. Alejandro Muñoz Dávila of the Technical University of Manabí. Therefore, based on a methodological approach based on a mixed qualitative-quantitative, descriptive approach and from a bibliographic-documentary approach, it will be possible to know relevant data that are of great contribution to the subject of study. It should be noted, however, that the mixed perspective is a process that collects, examines and links both quantitative and qualitative data in the same research study, with the aim of responding to an approach to the problem. The technique for obtaining data is the survey, which will apply to 10 professionals who work in the Dr. Alejandro Muñoz Dávila library of the Technical University of Manabí, with the purpose of knowing their criteria on the proposed topic. The aim is to prepare a diagnosis of strategies for the preservation of digital information and an analysis of strategies for the conservation of digital information in the library under study.
