EFICACIA DEL SULFATO DE MAGNESIO EN LA PREVENCION DE LAS CONVULSIONES EN PACIENTES CON ECLAMPSIA EN EL HOSPITAL DR. VERDI CEVALLOS BALDA DE PORTOVIEJO, MAYOOCTUBRE DEL 2011

Abstract

The link with the scientific knowledge is a key action in higher education, allowing quality to train professionals in the field warmth of Health. The information on this project has an educational value as part of management in the change process, standardizing the way in which the magnesium sulfate in the treatment of seizures in patients with Eclampsia Magnesium sulphate is an important center in the treatment of Eclampsia therefore been required to develop internal training on standards and management of this drug, thus decreasing the rate of maternal-fetal morbidity and mortality, given that in this study we demonstrated that all patients affected with this condition, the magnesium sulfate reduces new-onset seizures and allows patients to maintain stable and appropriate product until the end of pregnancy, thus ensuring maternal survival and infant by 92%. It has been proven the effectiveness of the antidote in 100% of cases of poisoning, and has also been able to demonstrate the nobility of magnesium sulphate when used properly in this treatment Also using some methods has come to fulfill the objectives of this research by obtaining the expected results, among which we highlight the clinical records of patients with eclampsia from May to October 2001, in addition to internal collaboration of the Hospital Dr . Verdi Cevallos Balda made an educational talk about Eclampsia and the correct use of magnesium sulfate for treatment.
