EFECTO SOBRE EL DESARROLLO PSICOMOTRIZ EN NIÑOS QUE RECIBEN TRATAMIENTO DE REHABILITACIÒN EN EL INNFA DE PORTOVIEJO DICIEMBRE/05-MAYO/06

Abstract

In Portoviejo City, Manabí province is carried out a study on: "Efecto sobre el Desarrollo Psicomotriz en Niños que reciben Tratamiento de Rehabilitación en el INNFA de Portoviejo desde el 1 de Diciembre/05 hasta el 31 de Mayo/06”. The investigation is of descriptive and prospective type, where the variables are studied expounded in order to determine the effect of the development [psicomotriz] in children that receive the treatment of rehabilitation that they assist daily to receive therapies of rehabilitation in the INNFA of Portoviejo. The information was obtained by means of survey, observation, questionnaire and visits [at home] to the most vulnerable children, chosen from the universe that constitutes 41 children under 5 years that arrived it the period of April-May/ 06. According to the obtained data the results were made known by means of charts and graphics where the hi highest old percentage of children with effect in the development [psicomotriz] occupied the newly born with to 31.7% due to problems like [premature], Sepsis, Incompatibility of the RH factor- ABO and another that they overturn the SNC (Centrum Nervous System) in anyway. Amana the general characteristics of population located that the old percentage of children that receive therapy of rehabilitation in the INNFA of Portoviejo arrives from urban areas in a 58.5%. The therapy of Psicomotricidad with a 74%, is the one that improve the coordination of the thin and thick [motricidad], communication and intellectual presence of children in any degree [discapacidad], due to any lesion of the SNC. The established recommendations are directed to relatives of children with [disability] in the development [psicomotriz], to the INNFA of Portoviejo and to the School of Nursery of the U.T.M. Concluding our work [investigative] fulfilling the proposed objectives in a 90%, leaving the obtained results setting in this thesis.
