Abstract

The research entitled "Endogenous development as a strategy to promote the commercial growth of the event halls of the Portoviejo canton, affected by the covid-19 health crisis" was developed with the participation of the owners of ten event centers of the Portoviejo canton, the This research work had as its main objective the elaboration of an endogenous development proposal as a strategy that allows promoting the Commercial Growth of the Event Rooms of the Portoviejo canton, affected by the Covid-19 health crisis. The Covid 19 pandemic left many commercial premises, especially the event centers, in a regrettable crisis, many of them had to close their establishments due to the provisions of the COE, in this investigative work it was decided to demonstrate the true situation they are experiencing. the event centers of the canton Portoviejo so that afterwards their analysis can design a strategy based on endogenous development that helps their commercial growth. The theoretical framework is based on essential concepts to promote an environment that favors the reader's understanding. The methodology used for the successful completion of this work was analytical and descriptive, which was supported by the methods and instruments necessary to obtain the desired results. We conclude that our work can be a guide for the owners of the event rooms of the Portoviejo canton, in such a way that they can design strategies that help the growth of their establishment in times of pandemic.
