PROGRAMA DE PREVENCIÓN DE LOS DEFECTOS REFRACTIVOS EN LOS NIÑOS DEL PRIMER AÑO BÁSICO DEL CENTRO ESCOLAR FRANCISCO PACHECO DE LA CIUDADELA FRANCISCO PACHECO, DURANTE EL PERIODO MAYO A OCTUBRE DEL 2009

Abstract

Myopia develops during childhood and adolescence as the eye grows, usually at school age is when it becomes apparent deficiency for distance. Hyperopia is when the eye is shorter than normal, and children are more vulnerable to the risk of farsightedness as it is in full swing. This project "IMPLEMENTATION OF A PROGRAM FOR PREVENTION OF REFRACTIVE ERRORS IN CHILDREN'S CENTER'S FIRST YEAR BASIC SCHOOL OF THE CITADEL FRANCISCO PACHECO PACHECO FRANCISCO, DURING THE PERIOD MAY TO OCTOBER 2009," is aimed not only to give attention to children, but to create a compromise between parents and teachers, who take care visual health of schoolchildren. We performed tests to students and held conferences for students, parents and teachers, learn about visual health problems. An assessment was made before and after the workshop to assess the degree of knowledge and satisfaction of students and parents. This research is a descriptive study. The methodology used to develop this research project was the open field, we used the matrix of the tools involved and the logical framework, the problem tree, objective tree and tree with alternative activities. After having the results showed that only one child had visual impairment who have received considerable attention. Having completed the analysis and obtaining results concluded that when making evaluations of the workshop, these contributed favorably on students, teachers and parents.
