EDIDAS DE CONTROL PARA ENFERMEDADES VECTORIALES EN LA COMUNIDAD LA NUEVA GRANADA DE CRUCITA, EN EL PERIODO, JULIO – DICIEMBRE DEL 2007

Abstract

This paper focused on control measures for disease vector in the Commonwealth of The New Grenada Crucita, during the period July to December 2007, in which it was determined that the best way to combat the diseases that afflict our people is prevention. Crucita is urban parish Portoviejo, currently has 12 thousand inhabitants. It consists of 13 precincts within which comprises The New Grenada, recently created a community that has little or no basic services which added to factors such as poor knowledge of the people and on measures to prevent the disease contributes to the enhancement of morbidity. Health is one of the major needs of the community for some time now there has been a significant problem, as is the presence of vector-borne diseases due to the large number of water reservoirs that serve as breeding grounds for them. As alternative solutions to this problem were raised various activities aimed at improving the skills of the people on these diseases; also promote measures to prevent and reduce the incidence of these diseases, compromising the authorities to include this community plans for community development.
